Asbestos removal

Asbestos has been banned in Belgium since 1998, but it is still present in buildings constructed before then. Asbestos is a natural mineral fibre used for a century in thousands of products. There are several varieties, including chrysotile and two from the amphibole family, amosite and crocidolite, which are the most common in older materials. The fibres may be woven, braided or mixed with binders such as resin, paper, plaster or rubber. Before working in an older building, an asbestos survey must be carried out and removal entrusted to a licensed company.

Rubble removal (waste skips)

Clearing debris is often needed during a construction or renovation project. It mainly involves removing rubble and other construction waste left after demolition: suspended ceilings, roof tiles, terracotta, etc.
